Nigerian court dismisses Saraki's appeal against CCT

The Court of Appeal sitting in Nigeria's capital Abuja has dismissed an appeal filed by Senate President, Bukola Saraki seeking to stop the Code of Conduct Tribunal from going ahead with his trial.
The Court held that the Tribunal which had the chairman and one member, was properly constituted to try Saraki or any other individual or group so accused.
The Judges also averred that the CCT was in order with the thirteen count charges it slammed against the accused.
Counsel to Saraki says his client will challenge the judgement at the Supreme Court, while the prosecuting counsel gives kudos.
To the court for judgement
