Ekiti State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Owoseni Ajayi has expressed concern over the Anti-Media Bill proposed by All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator, Bala Ibn Na'allah, saying; the National Assembly must not allow itself to be used to bring back Decree 4 that was used against the press between 1984 and 1985 that President Buhari was military Head of State and the Sedition Law that the British Colonial Masters used against our fathers, who fought for the independence of Nigeria.

Three friends namely, Stephen Evans, 20, Rebecca Nabarro, 23 and Casey Flissikowski, 18 lost their lives in a fatal head-on crash when their Vauxhall Corsa collided with a red Jaguar XS. The driver of the Jaguar, a man in his 60s survived the crash and is being treated in hospital. A 19-year-old male who was in the car with the friends is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
